Book Haul #1

Saturday, February 27, 2016

Finally I decided it was time for a Book Haul! This is not necessarily a February Book Haul because I know I won't be able to post anything on this blog for the next few months. I didn't buy much to be honest because I was on a very low budget but fortunately I didn't find anything that interesting so I guess being broke didn't matter after all. I got ten books in total this month so without further ado, here are my newly adopted babies:

  • 100 Classic Stories || Victoria Parker:
This is according to my twelve-year-old sister, the best book I've ever bought in my entire life. Hard to disagree with her, it has these stunning illustrations and a wide range of fairytales and legends from all over the world retold in a compellingly magical way.

  • Story of O || Pauline Réage:
Pretty much a 1954 Fifty Shades of Grey.

  • Parle-moi! || Sarah Mlynowski:
I bought this because I don't own a lot of french books especially contemporaries.

  • Stardust || Neil Gaiman:
This is honestly my most treasured book in this haul. Neil Gaiman is my ALL TIME favorite author and Stardust is a book I always wanted to own so guess how happy I was when a friend gave it to me as a gift!

  • The White Tiger || Aravind Adiga:
It's one of those ''judge a book by its cover'' cases. Plus it's an award-winner and a bestseller so I guess it might actually be worth it.

  • Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire || J. K. Rowling:
It's always a joy to find Harry Potter books and collect them.~

  • Camp X || Eric Walters:
This one seemed interesting but I know I probably won't read it anytime soon.

  • Lord of The Flies || William Golding:
I didn't buy this, I borrowed it from a friend but good luck of getting it back.

  • I've Got Your Number || Sophie Kinsella:
I actually own another copy but this one is way newer. I've Got Your Number is my favorite Sophie Kinsella book.

  • Pride and Prejudice || Jane Austen:
A short illustrated version but at least I finally have a Jane Austen book. Finally.

That's it for this book haul~
Tell me if you own any of these books and your recent purchases!
